"Gianluca is a Great Guide"

"We toured the Vatican with Gianluca last month. He was recommended by a friend that toured with him earlier. He is a very friendly guide who speaks perfect English. He love Rome and the history—you can tell by his enthusiasm!! He really had the procedure down to a science, from where to enter to when to stop for a snack break and a coffee! We were with our two boys, ages 16 and 11, and they were both very engaged by his stories. We highly recommend the private tour of the marbles and mosaics!! They are beautiful. We also hired Gianluca for the Pantheon and Colosseum tours. He is fantastic around!!"

"Abbiamo prenotato tramite agenzia un tour privato ( con salta la coda) per visitare i Musei Vaticani e Cappella Sistina sabato 20 Aprile. In sole 2 settimane e in pieno periodo pasquale siamo riusciti a trovare i biglietti e a gustare la visita con il mitico Gianluca. Gianluca ci ha raccontato aneddoti interessanti, trasmesso la sua passione per l'arte facendoci assaporare le meraviglie della Cappella Sistina e dei Musei Vaticani. I miei figli di 13 e 16 anni al termine di questo week end nella romantica Roma mi hanno detto che questo tour resterà sicuramente al primo posto tra le meraviglie di Roma! Grazie Gianluca"

"Family Rome visit with Gianluca"

"Our family of five (three children ages 15, 12 and 11) booked three tours with Eyes of Rome. The first day was a three hour walking tour of Rome highlights. Gianluca met us at our hotel and really impressed us with his wealth of knowledge about everything we passed on our walk. He kept all of us engaged with the history of the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps and many other sites of historical Rome. The second day he took us on a tour of the Coliseum and the Forum. Amazing! The lines to get into the Coliseum were very long but we skipped to the front and enjoyed our private time with Gianluca as he gave us the extensive history of these sites...we learned so much! The third day we did the Early Bird tour of the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Gianluca’s knowledge of every painting, mosaic and tapestry was very impressive. He studied archeology and art history and you can tell he is passionate about both."

"Our tour guide Gianluca Pica was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. We visited the Coliseum as well as the Vatican with Gianluca and could not have been more pleased. Great guide, great guy."
